Albuquerque Natural History Museum Grounds

Near Old Town is the Albuquerque Natural History Museum. I didn't have time to go into the museum, but did walk around the grounds enjoying the sculpture. http://www.nmnaturalhistory.org/  There are over 50 sculptures in the garden.  I also missed the rattlesnake museum.

There is a large diarama of the Spanish Conquistador Juan de OƱate, along with a group of settlers and soldiers arriving in New Mexico

And a set of every-day citizens of  New Mexico. From a distance it is easy to be fooled in thinking that people are just sitting around outside the museum,

.

And my favorite modern sculpture.
