Arkansas Ride for the Cure 2009

I drove to Arkansas for a one day ride, the Ride for the Cure in Jonesboro AR.

Jonesboro is surrounded by a ridge, so there was a short climb from the Arkansas State University out of town. Beyond the ridge, the rest of the ride was very flat. It was drizzling when the ride started by cleared up about an hour later.

This is cereal growing country.  I passed by the intersection of Post and Nestle.

At the SAG stop, the high school cheerleaders were assisting riders by holding their bikes while SAG food was consumed.
